If I have enough money saved up, it could be up to $300-400AUD, depending on how things go. My budget is kinda undetermined right now, since I'm not sure how much money I'm gonna be able to save, but if we're being realistic, it's anywhere from $150-200AUD for everything.

If I do have to get a DAC/Amp, a small, USB-Powered, portable one is preferred as a nice-to-have, but I'm not losing sleep if it has to be powered from the wall and is a little larger. If I can get a good pair that work with a built-in DAC/Amp on a PC, or phone, then that's preferable, but if I have to spend a little extra on an external one then so be it. Just so we're covering all bases here, the music I make is entirely done with synthesisers of various types, and my tracks have no vocals at all, let alone vocals recorded and monitored on my part, so I'm aware of the downsides of sound-leakage when it comes to music production, but they're a non-issue for me.
